The plant is of medium or high height, with leaf blades of narrow or medium width, slightly curved, and a small angle between the leaf and stem. The ear is of medium size, thin or weakly conical, with a long or short stalk and medium number of rows of kernels. The kernels are predominantly dent or intermediate, with orange or yellow-orange coloration. The hybrid has high drought resistance and rapid early growth, ensuring good water shedding and stable yield under various climatic conditions. LAR 1492 is resistant to diseases such as common smut and gummy root rot, enhancing its reliability during cultivation. Seeds are treated with a fungicide, providing additional protection to plants during early development. The potential yield of the hybrid reaches 140 centners per hectare, making it an attractive choice for farmers focused on high productivity. Plant height is approximately 310 cm, and ear attachment height is about 110 cm.
