Description
The hybrid exhibits high resistance to lodging, both early and at harvest, as well as pronounced resistance to Fusarium and head smut, significantly reducing yield losses and enhancing grain quality. Additionally, MALAWI KS is resistant to stalk rot and ear blemishes, and moderately resistant to ear and stalk Fusarium and corn borer. The hybrid’s remontancy provides the "Stay Green" effect, allowing the plant to retain green mass longer, positively impacting yield and quality parameters.
The hybrid’s yield potential reaches up to 135 centners per hectare, with an average yield in the Central Chernozem region of approximately 70 centners per hectare, with maximum yields reaching up to 101.8 centners per hectare. The recommended seeding rate varies depending on the moisture zone: 60–70 thousand seeds per hectare in dry areas and 75–80 thousand in well-watered zones. The vegetation period is approximately 122 days, with required effective temperatures for flowering and grain moisture reaching 35% of 860 and 1650 degrees, respectively. MALAWI KS is a reliable choice for farmers seeking high productivity and grain quality under various climatic conditions.
