Maxxalia

The hybrid sweet corn Maxxalia is a classic type with dent kernels and medium plant height. Ears are semi-upright, containing 14-16 rows of kernels, with 28 kernels per row, and 1000-kernel weight ranging from 320-330 grams. The plant has a strong root system, providing high resistance to lodging and major pathogens, including Fusarium. The "Stay green" hybrid type maintains green vegetative mass throughout the growing period, promoting stable development and yield.

Maxxalia exhibits high adaptability to growing conditions and agronomic practices, making it suitable for various soils and climatic zones in Ukraine. The hybrid is well-adapted to water deficit, showing high drought resistance and rapid kernel moisture loss at maturity. It consistently achieves yields ranging from 96 to 131 centners per hectare, confirmed by trials across different regions of the country. Recommended planting dates vary from optimal to late optimal, and harvesting can be conducted late without loss of grain quality.

To achieve maximum productivity, planting density should be adjusted according to soil moisture levels: 70-75 thousand plants per hectare in well-watered zones, down to 45-55 thousand in drought-prone areas. The hybrid demonstrates good resistance to spring frosts and high growth energy in early vegetative stages. Thanks to its combination of early maturity, stress resistance, and stable yield, Maxxalia is a reliable choice for agricultural enterprises aiming to produce high-quality, consistent grain.
