Operational Versatility
The flexibility of the NP 2222 is its standout feature. We use it for both grain production and silage, and it excels in both scenarios. For grain, we typically set our planting density at 75,000–80,000 plants/ha to maximize harvest efficiency. When switching to silage, we adjust the density to 60,000–65,000 plants/ha to optimize biomass. The stems are robust and resistant to lodging, which makes the harvest phase smooth and minimizes yield losses during mechanical picking.
