OMKA 135 corn is an early-maturing hybrid designed for grain and silage production, especially in regions with limited growing seasons such as Siberia and the Far East. This hybrid is characterized by high yield and stable growth, making it popular in agriculture for feeding livestock and poultry. The plant is of medium height with medium-width leaves, the ear is weakly conical and of medium length, and the grain has an intermediate type, closer to a silken type, with an orange coloration on the upper part of the kernel.

OMKA 135 exhibits good resistance to various diseases and adverse conditions: lodging, stem breakage, stem rot, ear Fusarium, and helminthosporiosis. The 1000-kernel weight ranges from 270–280 grams, indicating good kernel size and quality. The tassel flowering time is very early, which contributes to the hybrid’s adaptation to short growing seasons.

The yield of OMKA 135 corn varies by region, averaging 42.2 c/ha in the Far Eastern region and up to 125.5 c/ha in the Volga-Vyatka region. The average dry matter content ranges from 38.5% to 41.5%, ensuring high nutritional value of the feed. Due to these characteristics, the hybrid is widely used in feed rations, providing animals with essential nutrients for effective growth and productivity.
