Corn P7655 is an early-maturing silage hybrid from the m3 series with dent-type kernels and an FAO index of 220. It is a tall plant with strong ear attachment, facilitating harvesting and increased yield. The hybrid has high starch and dry matter content, as well as high digestibility of tissues and starch, making it optimal for silage and biogas production.
This hybrid has high grain purity and excellent moisture release, ensuring high-quality silage material. It exhibits excellent drought resistance and resistance to stalk diseases at level 6 out of 9. P7655 is suitable for monoculture and low-tillage farming, simplifying agronomic practices. Late harvest is not recommended, especially for grain use.
To achieve maximum productivity when grown for silage and biogas, planting density should be increased by 15-20%. Under adequate moisture, optimal plant density is 70-75 thousand plants per hectare; under insufficient moisture, it is 65-70 thousand. Planting dates for this hybrid are flexible: early, optimal, and late planting are all recommended, allowing adaptation to various climatic conditions.
