Description
Hybrid AP 18101 K belongs to mid-early corn varieties with a vegetation period of 110-115 days and yield of 145-155 c/ha. It is characterized by a strong stem, powerful root system and ear attachment height of 115-120 cm. The grain is cream-colored and toothed, large, with high starch content (70-72%) and protein (about 10%). The hybrid is resistant to major diseases and pests, has high adaptability to weather conditions and high reproductive capacity. To increase yield, foliar treatment with growth stimulators and microelements is recommended, which helps increase the quantity and quality of ears.
Hybrid NP 183 SV Nertus is a high-yielding early-maturing variety with a vegetation period of 97-100 days and a maturity unit of 190-200 according to FAO. It is intended for grain and silage production, with potential yields exceeding 100 c/ha of grain and over 400 c/ha of silage. Plants reach a height of 230 cm, have strong and elastic stems, and a powerful root system. Ears are cylindrical or slightly conical in shape with 18-20 rows of yellow-orange kernels. The hybrid is distinguished by high resistance to lodging, drought and major corn diseases, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in forest-steppe and steppe zones. Recommended planting density depends on purpose — for silage 80 thousand plants per hectare, for grain — 65 thousand.

Corn hybrids are classified by maturity groups and by the FAO number. All corn hybrids are distributed according to the FAO scale. Under Central European conditions, a difference of 10 FAO units between hybrids results in a 1-2 day difference in their maturity. The higher the FAO... |

Dual-purpose hybrids: for silage and grain in all growing regions. These are "stay-green" type hybrids, meaning the plants remain green for a longer period. However, this does not affect the sugar, cellulose, and hemicellulose content, nor the degree of lignification of the plant... |
