Perkop SV

Corn Perkop SV is a simple modified hybrid of Ukrainian selection with maturity group FAO 180, corresponding to early-maturing type. This hybrid is intended for cultivation both for grain and silage, possessing high yield potential — up to 10-11 tons per hectare. Grain is cream-colored, yellow-orange, with 1000-grain weight within 260-280 grams. Plants reach a height of 230-240 cm, with an average number of rows of kernels per ear of 14-16, with 34-36 kernels per row. These characteristics make Perkop SV a versatile and productive choice for various agroclimatic conditions in Ukraine.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to adverse environmental factors and diseases. It has good drought resistance (rating 8 out of 10), ensuring stable yield even in dry regions. Enhanced cold tolerance (7 out of 10) promotes early vegetation, while resistance to lodging, major pests, and diseases (each rated 7 out of 10) reduces the need for intensive pesticide use and increases cultivation reliability. Thanks to these qualities, Perkop SV is well adapted for cultivation in the Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe regions of Ukraine.

To achieve maximum yield, it is recommended to follow optimal planting density, which varies by region: 75-90 thousand plants per hectare in Polissia, 70-75 thousand in Forest-Steppe, and 58-60 thousand in Steppe. This approach allows flexible use of the hybrid in various soil-climatic conditions, ensuring high productivity and quality of both grain and silage.
