Description
Plants of the Pumori variety have medium-high stature and demonstrate high resistance to lodging, which contributes to maintaining yield and facilitates harvest. A distinctive feature of the hybrid is the pronounced Stay Green effect, allowing stems to retain green mass until late maturation stages, and ears to form fully and uniformly. The variety does not tend to form secondary tillers and leaves minimal post-harvest residues, positively affecting subsequent agronomic operations.
Pumori exhibits high resistance to major corn diseases, such as rust, ear fungal rot, stalk rots, and gnomosporiosis. Additionally, the variety shows good spring cold tolerance and drought resistance, enabling successful planting at low temperatures and under insufficient moisture conditions. Recommended planting density varies depending on moisture conditions and ranges from 60 to 85 thousand plants per hectare. The number of rows per ear is 16–18, and the number of kernels per row is 32–36, ensuring high yield and grain quality.
