The hybrid corn R9074 is a high-yielding, mid-season, simple hybrid with dent-type kernels, intended for grain use, as well as for starch and ethanol production. The plants are medium-height with optimal ear attachment, ensuring high resistance to lodging and promoting stable yield formation. The hybrid can form two ears, further enhancing its productivity. Yield potential reaches 110 c/ha, and moisture shedding rates during ripening are high, facilitating harvest and reducing yield losses.

R9074 exhibits high drought tolerance, making it especially valuable for cultivation under limited water conditions. The hybrid is recommended for cultivation in the Forest-Steppe and Steppe zones of Ukraine, where it demonstrates stable performance even under adverse weather conditions. Recommended planting density varies depending on water availability: 65-75 thousand plants per hectare under adequate moisture, and 60-70 thousand plants per hectare under limited moisture. The hybrid also shows good suitability for monoculture, simplifying agronomic practices.

Hybrid R9074 has moderate resistance to common corn diseases such as helminthosporiosis, blister and glume smut, and high resistance to ear rot. Strong stalks reduce lodging risk and help preserve the yield. Seeds are treated with the insecticide seed treatment FORS ZEA, which protects plants from soil and above-ground pests.
