Description
Plants reach a height of approximately 250-270 cm, have 14-16 leaves on the main stem, and form ears 23-25 cm long with 12-14 rows of kernels, each row containing 36 kernels. The ear attachment height is about 80 cm. The grain is yellow, intermediate type, closer to pearled, with a 1000-kernel weight of approximately 260-280 g. The hybrid exhibits high resistance to drought, lodging, as well as major pests and diseases, ensuring stable yields even under challenging climatic conditions.
RAM 3551 is suitable for cultivation in various agroclimatic zones, with recommended pre-harvest plant density ranging from 55,000 to 70,000 per hectare depending on the region. Due to its stress resistance and robust root system, this hybrid provides reliable and high-quality grain with accelerated moisture release at maturity, facilitating harvesting and improving economic efficiency of production.
