Unlike many other hybrids that start catching infections during the maturation stage, Faxxana keeps the cob clean and healthy, which is crucial for the quality of commercial grain.

Operation and agronomics

Working with this grain hybrid is a pleasure when it comes to planning the sowing campaign. We stick to a plant density of 70,000–75,000 plants per hectare, which is quite enough to get a high-quality cob without excessive competition for nutrients. The plant is very responsive to technology: if you provide a good nutritional background, it reveals its full potential.

• Health: Resistance to maize Fusarium is not just a marketing claim, but a real fact. Less fungus means higher grain test weight.
• Harvesting: The grain threshes easily, which reduces the load on the combine harvester and minimizes the risk of cracking at high operational speeds.
• Density: The recommendation of 72,000–75,000 plants/ha is suitable for well-watered areas, as the hybrid is not prone to lodging even at this planting density.

Managing these crops is more cost-effective because you save on additional late-season fungicide applications.
