ROSS 136 MV is an early-maturing corn hybrid intended for grain production. It has a vegetation period of approximately 82 days and belongs to FAO group 130. The plant is tall with medium-width leaves and slightly curved shape. The ears are cylindrical with 14-16 rows of kernels, each row containing up to 30 kernels. The kernels are dent-shaped, with the upper part colored orange and the lower part yellow-orange. The ear stalk is of medium length, and the cob is stained with moderate intensity anthocyanin.

The hybrid is characterized by resistance to lodging and diseases, including moderate resistance to stalk rot, low susceptibility to common smut, and moderate resistance to ear Fusarium. Anthocyanin pigmentation of various plant parts, including the sheath of the first leaf, root collar, and spikelet bracts, is weak or absent, which is a distinctive feature of this hybrid.

ROSS 136 MV shows high yield potential in various regions, including Central Chernozem, North Caucasus, and Volga regions. Average grain yield reaches 77.5 centners per hectare in the Central Chernozem region and may exceed 90 centners per hectare under favorable conditions. Grain moisture at harvest is at standard levels, facilitating storage and processing. The hybrid is grown on sterile bases without ear removal, simplifying seed production and improving seed quality.
