TIRNAVIA — a mid-season corn hybrid designed for cultivation as grain or silage. It is characterized by high yield and resistance to corn ear fusarium, ensuring stable harvests under various climatic conditions. The hybrid exhibits vigorous early vegetative growth, early flowering, and excellent drought tolerance, making it a reliable choice for regions with variable moisture levels. Plant height reaches 240–260 cm, and ears approximately 30 cm long are positioned 55 cm above the ground. TIRNAVIA has high dry matter content and elevated starch levels in the grain, improving silage and grain quality. Grain type is dent-shaped with 16–18 rows and 22–26 kernels per row, average 1000-kernel weight of 330–350 g. The hybrid demonstrates excellent grain moisture release, facilitating harvest and subsequent processing. Recommended planting density varies by conditions: for consistently moist zones — 90,000 plants per hectare for grain and 95,000 for silage; for dry zones — 75,000 for grain and 80,000 for silage. TIRNAVIA seeds are bred and refined in France and treated with Maxim HL, ensuring protection and high germination rates. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation in the Central Chernozem and North Caucasus regions, where it achieves high yields — on average 22.53 t/ha, with maximum yields reaching up to 40.60 t/ha.
