Description
Morphologically, the hybrid is represented by remontant plants with a semi-erect leaf type, height of about 280-290 cm, and ear attachment height of 110-120 cm. The ear has a fixed type with 14 rows of kernels and 34-39 kernels per row, with a 1000-kernel weight of 300-320 g. The hybrid has high moisture content and is suitable for cultivation both for grain and for starch processing with starch content exceeding 60%. The recommended seed planting density varies depending on the level of water availability: from 50-60 thousand/ha in areas with insufficient moisture to 70-80 thousand/ha in areas with adequate moisture.
TOS 231 MV is distinguished by rapid early growth and accelerated vegetation, allowing the hybrid to develop successfully even under adverse conditions. It is suitable for cultivation in monoculture and according to minimum tillage technologies (No-Till and Mini-Till), which reduces cultivation costs. The grain yield potential reaches 15 t/ha, with a consistently high average output. Due to the combination of high yield, disease resistance, and adaptability to various growing conditions, this hybrid is an optimal choice for farmers aiming to obtain high-quality and economically viable corn yields.
