Jetton 265 MV

The hybrid corn Jetton 265 MV is a three-line medium-early hybrid with FAO 260, developed by the Institute of Grain Farming of the Steppe Zone of NAAN of Ukraine. It is intended for grain production in various climatic zones, including steppe, forest-steppe, and polonies. The hybrid is characterized by high yield potential of 125–135 ц/га and demonstrates stable performance even under hot climate and water deficiency conditions. Plants reach a height of 228–240 cm, have strong stems, are not prone to lodging, and do not form bushiness, which facilitates care and harvest. The ears of Jetton 265 MV are cylindrical, about 22–24 cm long, with a red cob, containing 18 rows of kernels with a toothed shape and yellow color with possible red stripes. The 1000-kernel weight ranges from 237 to 260 g, indicating the hybrid’s large kernel size. Ear attachment height is 81–91 cm, and the plant has up to 18 leaves. The hybrid exhibits high energy demand for early growth and good drought resistance, enabling successful cultivation on fertile soils with adequate moisture. Jetton 265 MV shows high resistance to major corn diseases such as helminthosporium, powdery mildew, and stalk rot, and is tolerant to pests and parasitic vegetation. It positively responds to agronomic measures aimed at enhancing soil fertility, which helps unlock its full yield potential. Hybrid seeds are coated for reliable protection and supplied in 25 kg paper bags, ensuring convenient storage and planting.
