ZETA 140S

ZETA 140S — this is an ultra-early maturing hybrid of sweet corn (Zea mays L.), developed in France and intended for silage use. The plant is characterized by its low stature and medium-width leaves, ensuring ease of cultivation and high adaptability to various conditions. The hybrid exhibits high drought and stress resistance, allowing for stable yields even under adverse weather conditions.

ZETA 140S seeds are treated with Maxim HL, enhancing their protection and promoting successful germination. Each bag contains 80,000 planting units, corresponding to the recommended sowing rate of 80–85,000 plants per hectare. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation on various soil types and is well adapted for organic farming and multiple cropping. Due to its versatility, it can be used for early planting as well as for green mass harvesting.

Yield varies by region: 114 centners per hectare in the Central region, 98.6 centners per hectare in the Volga region, 89.9 centners per hectare in the West Siberian region, and 142 centners per hectare in the East Siberian region.
