Cascade

CASCADE is an early-maturing, bee-pollinated cucumber hybrid with a female flowering type, intended for cultivation in open ground. The maturation period is 40-45 days, allowing for a quick harvest. The plant is indeterminate, medium-height, with a compact and well-leafed form, which simplifies care and fruit harvesting.

CASCADE fruits have a cylindrical shape, 8-11 cm long, weighing 80-100 grams. The fruits are slightly ribbed, with a beautiful green color, sometimes with short stripes and mild mottling. The fruit surface is bumpy with white hairs, the flesh has medium density and is free of bitterness, providing an excellent fresh taste. The cucumbers are suitable for both salads and canning, thanks to their high-quality flavor and market appearance.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major cucumber diseases, such as cucumber mosaic virus 1, powdery mildew, downy mildew, and bacterial wilt.
