Cucumber variety Nerosimy 40 is a medium-maturing salad type that begins to bear fruit on the 43rd to 55th day after emergence of seedlings. The plant is characterized by a powerful main stem, 140 to 200 cm long and 2.0–2.3 cm thick. Cucumbers have elongated-oval shape, 9–12 cm long, 3–4 cm in diameter, and weigh 90 to 120 grams. Fruit color varies from green to light green, with a surface covered in large bumps and white spines, giving them an attractive appearance.
The variety is distinguished by high yield and resistance to a range of diseases, including olive spot, bacterial disease, and fungal infections.
