Description
The hybrid Zubryonok F1 exhibits high resistance to major cucumber diseases such as downy mildew, cladosporiosis, bacterial wilt, and cucumber mosaic virus. This ensures a prolonged fruiting period and stable yield, reaching 40-65 tons per hectare, and up to 20 kg per square meter in plastic greenhouses. For maximum yield, 2-3 feedings are recommended during the bud and initial flowering stages. Regular harvesting promotes increased fruit set and overall plant productivity.
The hybrid can be grown both as seedlings and directly in the ground. Seeds are sown in April in individual pots or trays at a depth of 1.5-3 cm at a temperature of 25°C, then after germination, the temperature is lowered to 15°C. Seedlings are transplanted into the ground after the threat of late frosts, when the soil has warmed to 14-15°C. The recommended planting scheme is 70-90x30 cm or 190+50x25 cm, with a density of 30-40 thousand plants per hectare. Crop care includes weeding, loosening, and fertilization. Zubryonok F1 fruits have crisp flesh without cavities, are well transportable, and retain market appearance for up to 10 days after harvest, making this hybrid attractive for farmers and retailers.
