The 'Sura' tall fescue (Festuca arundinacea) is a refined variety developed by the Penza Research Institute of Agriculture. Led by breeders Vasily Epifanov and Gennady Savelyev, the project was conducted in partnership with the Federal Research Center for Fiber Crops.
