Benelus EC by ADAMA is a combined solution that integrates both systemic and contact fungicide properties. The product relies on the synergy of three active components: cyprodinil, tebuconazole, and pyrimidinyl. This combination allows for the control of a wide spectrum of diseases in fruit and berry crops.

Why the Combination of Ingredients Is Critical

• Systemic Action: Tebuconazole and cyprodinil rapidly penetrate plant tissues, providing protection even to areas that might have been missed during spraying. These substances block the biosynthesis of ergosterol and amino acids, leading to the destruction of the fungal mycelium.
• Contact Activity: The product creates a protective barrier on the surface of leaves and fruits, preventing the germination of pathogen spores during primary infections.
• Broad Spectrum: The fungicide has proven efficacy against apple scab, as well as a complex of grapevine diseases, including downy mildew, powdery mildew, and gray mold.

Field Application Features

The Emulsifiable Concentrate (EC) formulation was chosen for its excellent adhesion to the waxy layer of grapes and the skin of apples. This is vital in variable humidity conditions, where the washing off of the pesticide by precipitation could compromise the treatment results.
