The «Makas» fungicide is built upon the classic active ingredient, carbendazim. As a systemic product, it is rapidly absorbed by plant tissues upon contact and translocated acropetally, shielding not only the treated areas but also new growth. Its primary mode of action is the inhibition of pathogen cell division (mitosis), which renders the product highly effective against a broad spectrum of fungal infections.

Primary Targets and Efficacy

The application of this product is ideal for managing critical diseases in sunflower and cereal crops. The fungicide effectively halts the development of:

• Sunflower diseases: Phoma leaf spot, Phomopsis, white rot, and gray rot.
• Wheat diseases (winter and spring): septoria, fusarium root rot, and powdery mildew.

The systemic nature of the product gives «Makas» high resistance to rain wash-off, which is vital in regions with unstable weather conditions.

Technical Application Guidelines

To ensure maximum biological efficacy and prevent resistance, «Makas» should be applied in strict accordance with the following protocols:

• Dosage rate: 0.5 to 1.0 L/ha, depending on the phytosanitary status of the crop.
• Number of applications: 1–2 treatments per growing season.
• Pre-harvest interval: The period between the final application and harvest is 20–30 days, allowing for flexible harvest planning.

The product is formulated as a suspension concentrate, which facilitates the creation of a stable working solution and uniform coverage across the leaf surface.
