A dual strike against soybean diseases through a synergy of strobilurins and triazoles in one formula.
Description
Synergy of active ingredients for soybean protection
The efficacy of "Monta Top" from Agrovets Ukraine is rooted in the combination of two powerful active substances: azoxystrobin (strobilurins) and difenoconazole (triazoles). This blend elevates the fungicide from a narrowly specialized product to a comprehensive solution for intensive soybean production.
Technical breakdown: how it works
- Azoxystrobin provides a preventative effect and translaminar movement. It blocks electron transport in the fungi's mitochondria, depriving the pathogen of energy at the cellular level. Practically, this means stopping spore germination before the hyphae penetrate the leaf tissue.
- Difenoconazole provides systemic action. Due to its high mobility, the substance is rapidly redistributed within the plant, inhibiting ergosterol biosynthesis in fungal cells. This is critical for curative treatments when mycelium has already begun to develop inside the leaf blade.
Practical application and dosage
"Monta Top" in the form of a suspension concentrate is a flexible agronomic tool. Thanks to its dual mechanism (contact and systemic), the product successfully halts outbreaks of dangerous soybean diseases such as anthracnose, downy mildew (peronosporosis), septoria, cercospora, ascochyta, and powdery mildew.
The recommended application rate is 0.5 to 1.0 L/ha, depending on the phytosanitary status of the crop and the severity of pathogen development. Up to two applications per growing season are permitted. The hazard class 3 makes the product relatively convenient for logistics, though it still requires standard occupational safety adherence during application. Utilizing this combination of fungicides not only suppresses active infections but also extends the crop's vegetation period, which correlates directly with final legume yields.
