Reliable seed treatment for cereal crops

I believe that a good harvest starts with the right seed treatment. For my winter and spring wheat and barley fields, I have been using «Zhyvosyl» from «Badvasі» for a while now. It is a classic systemic fungicide based on tebuconazole that delivers exactly what you need at the start of the season: predictability and protection.

Application and dosage

The product comes as an emulsion, which is easy to handle and covers the seeds evenly. I generally stick to the consumption rate of 0.5 to 1.0 liters per ton of seeds. One thorough treatment is enough to protect the crop during the germination phase, which is a major time-saver during the busy planting season.

Key target diseases:

• Root rots (Helminthosporium and Fusarium): The product effectively prevents seedlings from perishing in the soil.
• Smut diseases (loose and covered): Keeps the field clean and protects the future yield.
• Seed mold: Prevents decay, especially under unfavorable weather conditions during planting.

The systemic action is what I appreciate most; it penetrates the seed, protecting not just the coat but the germ as well. As a farmer, I value the confidence that my crops won't be thinned out by early-stage diseases. With a hazard class of 3, the product is standard and easy to work with, requiring no complex protocols. It is a straightforward, reliable solution that ensures a strong, healthy start for the crop.
