Gladiolus Dmitry Solunsky is a tall variety reaching up to 165 cm in height. Its inflorescence stalk is straight and sturdy, ensuring the plant's stability in open ground and when cut. Each inflorescence forms up to 20 large flowers with a diameter of up to 15 cm, featuring a bright white shade with a delicate pink or lilac edge on the petals, which is particularly noticeable in sunlight. The variety's distinctive feature is the ruffled, textured petals, giving the flowers an expressive and decorative appearance.

This gladiolus is characterized by high resistance to most diseases; however, preventive treatment of corms before planting is recommended. The plant prefers flat, well-lit areas protected from strong winds but not deprived of air circulation to avoid fungal diseases. To increase resistance to lodging, it is recommended to plant bulbs in groups, which helps the stems support each other, as well as to observe optimal planting depth.

Care for this variety includes timely digging up of bulbs in dry weather, removing damaged specimens, and cutting the stem, leaving a small part of 2-3 cm from the base of the bulb. Gladiolus Dmitry Solunsky is widely used in landscape design for decorating flower beds, deep pots, and group plantings, and is valued for its high commercial attractiveness and good yield when cut.
