Description
The Gladiolus variety "Lighthouse Lights" is the result of breeding work by Mikhurin Institute scientist Oleg Kuzichev. This variety is distinguished by high disease resistance and a high multiplication coefficient, making it attractive for cultivation both in amateur and professional conditions. One of the variety's features is the original flower coloration and their ruffled shape, giving the plant decorative expressiveness.
The flowers of the "Lighthouse Lights" gladiolus have bright and contrasting coloration: a cream background with a large red spot on the lower petals. The plant height reaches about 150 cm, and the inflorescence is approximately 75 cm. The flowers are large, with a diameter of about 12 cm; up to 22 buds are formed on one plant, ensuring a long flowering period. The variety belongs to mid-late in terms of flowering time, which allows using it for landscaping gardens and flowerbeds in the summer-autumn period.
Gladiolus bulbs have a size of 10/12 cm, which contributes to good development and fast plant growth. Thanks to their decorative qualities and resistance to unfavorable conditions, the "Lighthouse Lights" variety will be an excellent choice for those who value bright and effective flowers with original coloration and reliability in cultivation.
