SOLA CANARY

The Gladiolus variety 'Sola Canary' is an original perennial cormous representative of the Iris family, created by breeder Andrey Nikolaevich Gromov. The plant reaches a height of about 140 cm and features a sturdy, straight scape that supports a dense two-rowed inflorescence about 70 cm long. Each inflorescence forms 21-22 buds, from which 7-9 flowers open simultaneously, ensuring a prolonged and spectacular bloom.

The flowers of this variety have a medium size—about 12-13 cm in diameter, with an open shape and an elegant ruffling performed by large pleats. The upper petals are colored in a rich salmon-pink shade with bright yellow-green surges, while the lower petals have a yellowish-green base with expressive pink edges. Such an unusual and harmonious combination of tones gives the flowers brightness and boldness, while the coloring does not fade in the sun. The petals are elongated with rounded edges, which adds elegance and decorativeness to the flowers.

The 'Sola Canary' variety belongs to the early-mid bloom period, lasting about 10-12 days.
