NUGGET

Nugget hops (Nugget) differ in their bright bitterness due to alpha acid content ranging from 13.6% to 14%. This makes them an ideal choice for beer styles requiring a rich bitter component, including imperial stouts. The hop aroma is dominated by herbal and resinous notes, imparting a characteristic woody tone to the beverage.

The Nugget form consists of granulated cones, which are more compact compared to whole-leaf hops. This structure facilitates storage and allows for preserving the value of aromatic oils for up to three years, provided vacuum packaging is used. After six months of storage at 20°C, the alpha acid content remains at 70–80% of the initial value.

Nugget hops are resistant to various diseases and are widely used in brewing due to their reliability and versatility. Their moderately long, compact cones are harvested in the middle of the season, ensuring a stable product flow for manufacturers.
