Arugula «POKER» – an early-maturing variety of cultivated arugula, ready for green harvest just 20–25 days after sowing. The rosette height is 15–20 cm, and the leaves have a lyre-like shape and smooth surface, making them convenient for use in salads and sandwiches.
The variety is valued for its rich nutty-mustard taste and aroma, which give dishes a special piquancy. The leaves are rich in essential oils, vitamin C, carotene, B vitamins, as well as minerals, making arugula «POKER» a useful addition to the diet.
«Poker» is easy to grow both in open ground and under film coverings or in pots on a windowsill. Sowing is carried out from April to September (or August) at a depth of 1 cm. Yield reaches 1–1.3 kg/m², and the plant is undemanding, making it an ideal choice for home garden enthusiasts and professional gardeners.
