Belonging to the neonicotinoid class, this product offers systemic activity, which is crucial for controlling hidden pests and sap-sucking insects that are otherwise difficult to reach.

Mechanism of Action

Harpoon operates by blocking nicotinic acetylcholine receptors within the insect's central nervous system. This causes overstimulation of nerve impulses, leading to paralysis and rapid population collapse. By combining two distinct components, the product achieves superior efficacy compared to mono-substance alternatives and helps mitigate the risk of pest resistance development.

Field Application and Pest Control

Formulated as an emulsifiable concentrate, the product ensures uniform coverage during foliar application. Harpoon is highly effective against a broad spectrum of agricultural threats:

• Sucking insects: Aphids, thrips, greenhouse whiteflies, and leafhoppers.
• Soil and chewing insects: Wireworms, European mole crickets, cereal ground beetles, and flea beetles.
