The «Mikro» insecticide, manufactured by the Chinese industry giant Hailir Pesticides and Chemicals Group, is a highly specialized tool designed to combat primary pests in pome fruit crops. The active ingredient, Acetamiprid, is a second-generation neonicotinoid that remains a global agronomic benchmark due to its rapid knockdown effect and systemic transport within the plant.

Action Mechanism and Pharmacokinetics

The efficacy of «Mikro» is rooted in its systemic nature. Unlike contact-only agents, Acetamiprid permeates the leaf tissue and is redistributed throughout the plant's vascular system. This overcomes the major challenge of apple orchard protection: pests such as the codling moth or leaf rollers often shelter deep within buds or inside the fruit, far from the reach of surface sprays. Upon ingestion, the active ingredient binds to the nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in the insect’s nervous system, inducing paralysis and rapid death.
