The product utilizes an organophosphorus compound that inhibits the enzyme acetylcholinesterase in the pest's nervous system. This disruption of nerve impulse transmission leads to paralysis and rapid mortality of the insects.

The technical advantage of the emulsifiable concentrate formulation lies in its high penetration capacity through the leaf cuticle. Upon application, the active ingredient is quickly absorbed by plant tissues and translocated systemically, ensuring the protection of both the treated areas and newly emerging young shoots.

The product is specifically formulated to protect winter and spring cereal crops. Its application is crucial during peak activity periods for:

• Cereal Leaf Beetles: Dimethoate effectively controls the larval stage, preventing leaf skeletonization.

The systemic effect is most pronounced at air temperatures between +15°C and +25°C; activity may be reduced in cooler conditions. The emulsifiable concentrate requires careful preparation of the spray solution; compatibility testing with other pesticides in tank mixes is highly recommended, while alkaline substances should be avoided.
