Why «T 2» is a staple in my crop protection strategy

When dealing with Colorado potato beetles or aphids, timing and reliability are everything. I have been using «T 2» by «Nestor-agro» on my potato and tomato fields for several seasons now. The product’s key advantage is the dual-action formula combining imidacloprid and lambda-cyhalothrin. Its systemic properties ensure that the active ingredients penetrate the plant tissues, providing thorough protection even if coverage during spraying wasn’t 100% perfect.

Practical application and efficiency

The suspension concentrate formulation is a huge plus for machine operators. It mixes effortlessly, remains stable in the tank, and never clogs my sprayer nozzles, which is critical when you have large acreage to cover. With an application rate of 0.5 to 1.0 L/ha, you can scale your approach based on the pest pressure. I typically use the lower end for routine maintenance and reserve the higher dose for heavy infestations of cutworms or thrips. With a maximum of two applications per season, I can keep the fields clean until harvest.

Operational notes

Since «T 2» is a Class 2 hazard chemical, I treat it with the respect it deserves—PPE is mandatory during mixing and spraying. The systemic action is a major convenience, as it doesn't get washed off by the first rainfall like contact-only insecticides. «T 2» from «Nestor-agro» has proven to be a reliable, robust solution that saves me time on repetitive passes and keeps my yields healthy and protected.
