Chlorantraniliprole (from the anthranilic diamide class) acts on ryanodine receptors in the insect muscles, causing immediate feeding cessation and paralysis. Thiamethoxam, a neonicotinoid, provides a powerful systemic effect by rapidly penetrating plant tissues.

Why it matters in practice

• Systemic and translaminar activity: The product does not just stay on the leaf surface. Thiamethoxam is quickly transported through the vascular system, protecting even untreated areas and new growth. Chlorantraniliprole exhibits excellent translaminar activity, penetrating inside the leaf blade.
• Contact and ingestion control: This combination allows for targeting pests hidden inside ovaries, fruits, or curled leaves. This is critical for controlling codling moths and armyworms.
• Resistance management: The multi-directional mode of action makes the development of resistant insect populations virtually impossible.

Technical application parameters

The suspension concentrate formulation ensures excellent solubility and stability of the spray solution. The product is adapted for standard foliar application. Depending on the crop and infestation intensity, the application rate is between 0.2 and 0.5 l/ha. It is essential to follow the label: the maximum number of treatments is limited to 2-3 per season. The Class 3 toxicity rating makes it relatively safe when handled with standard precautions, representing a «sweet spot» for intensive horticulture and vegetable production.
