Linseed PRESTIGE® is a high-quality variety of flax designed for growing oilseed crops in agronomy. This variety is distinguished by early sowing dates and a short growing season of 85 to 94 days, allowing for effective use in arid conditions and immediately after pea harvesting. Plants reach a height of 43-46 cm, have short stems, and small pods with seeds of medium size weighing 7.2-7.8 g per 1000 seeds. The brown seeds contain up to 43.2% fat, with a high linolenic acid content (48.4-52.5%), as well as significant portions of linoleic and oleic acids, making them a valuable raw material for the fats and oils industry.

The PRESTIGE® variety exhibits high resistance to major fungal diseases, lodging, and shattering, ensuring crop preservation and quality. Due to its morphological and physiological characteristics, it demonstrates increased drought resistance and can withstand short-term frosts down to -8°C. These characteristics make it particularly suitable for cultivation in regions with unfavorable climatic conditions, including the North Caucasus and Middle Volga regions.

The potential yield of the variety reaches 30 centners per hectare, confirming its high productivity. An early start to flowering and adaptation to maximum early sowing dates allow for effective planning of agrotechnical activities.
