Design Features and Working Components

The 4T Select model features a four-meter working width and a unique system of independent coulters. Front turbo discs cut through crop residue, preparing the soil for deep-loosening tines that break the ground up to 30 cm deep, ensuring aeration of the root zone. Mineral fertilizers are applied directly behind the tines, allowing for precise nutrient placement below the seedbed. Press Wheels and Seeding Quality

Each seeding unit is equipped with its own press wheel, which controls seeding depth with millimeter precision. Downforce on the coulter is hydraulically adjustable, which is critical when working on hard stubble or compacted soils. Behind the seeding sections, finger-type harrows and press rollers are installed, forming an ideal surface profile for accelerated germination and protection against wind erosion.

Tractor Requirements

For efficient operation, the Mzuri Pro-Til 4T Select requires a tractor with 220 to 280 horsepower. When working on heavy soils or at full hopper capacity, it is essential to consider the necessary drawbar pull. The unit requires connection to the tractor's hydraulic system with a flow rate of at least 100 L/min to power the coulter control system and the seeding fan.
