Description
LYGOVSKIY is a medium-maturing spring oat (Avena sativa L.) variety intended primarily for grain-forage use. The plants are characterized by low stature and a 1000-grain weight ranging from 32 to 42 grams, which ensures good grain density and quality. The variety is distinguished by high yield: in the Central Black Earth region, the average figure reaches 51.3 c/ha, and the maximum is 75.9 c/ha, significantly exceeding the indicators of some similar varieties. In the Far Eastern region, the yield is 37.6 c/ha on average, with a maximum value of 57.9 c/ha.
The LYGOVSKIY variety possesses resistance to a number of diseases, including crown rust, powdery mildew, dark brown spot, and stem rust, and also demonstrates weak damage from root rots. However, it is highly susceptible to loose smut, which requires attention during agro-technical measures. The plants are resistant to lodging and have drought resistance, which makes the variety suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions, including the Central Black Earth, Middle Volga, and Far Eastern regions.
LYGOVSKIY was developed by the method of individual selection from a hybrid population and is recommended for intensive cultivation technologies. Plant height varies from 61 to 134 cm, which ensures convenience of harvesting and processing. Protein content in the grain is 12.5-13.0%, which is a good indicator for forage oats. The variety is recommended for cultivation in the Lipetsk, Oryol, and Penza regions, as well as in the Amur region, Primorsky and Khabarovsk krais, which confirms its adaptability and wide application.

Overall bulb harvest per unit area. Depends on both onion variety characteristics and agronomic practices, fertilizers, and irrigation. Under optimal growing conditions, an onion yield of 100 tons per hectare and above is not considered record-breaking. |
