Description
Elbrus F1 onion is a medium-maturing, high-yielding long-day hybrid of bulb onion, suitable for cultivation throughout Ukraine. The vegetative period is approximately 113-120 days from emergence, allowing harvest by the end of the fourth month. Plants are upright and do not bolt, facilitating care and harvest. The hybrid features high uniformity in bulb shape and size, ensuring excellent market quality and ease of mechanized harvesting and sorting.
Elbrus F1 bulbs have a round shape, large or medium size, and dense structure with good scale adhesion. Their color is dark bronze, and dry scales are dark brown, giving the onion an attractive appearance. Inner juicy scales are white with a slight greenish tint, and the flavor is semi-pungent. The neck is thin and single-bud, contributing to long-term storage and reduced damage during transport. Individual bulb weight ranges from 90 to 150 grams.
