Description
This variety is recommended for cultivation in a one-year crop from seeds, particularly in the Central Black Soil and North Caucasus regions. GEO Onion is characterized by high commercial yield — from 296 to 372 centners per hectare, which corresponds to the standards of well-known varieties Amber 29 and Chalcedony. Bulb maturity before harvest reaches 90%, and after after-ripening 97-100%, allowing for high-quality and stable yields.
The hybrid is ideal for mechanized harvesting and long-term storage in heaps over 3.5 meters high for up to 7-8 months. Due to high resistance to diseases and pests, GEO Onion maintains its performance even under unfavorable weather conditions; however, regular inspection of crops and timely treatment when necessary are recommended to prevent powdery mildew and pest infestations.
