Description
The variety is distinguished by high resistance to adverse weather conditions and diseases such as alternaria, Phytophthora (tip rot) and rust. Thanks to these qualities, Lancelot withstands transportation well and can be stored in fresh form for up to 2-3 months, which significantly expands its usage possibilities. The plant is recommended to be grown by the seedling method in a temperate climate with planting of seed onions according to the scheme 7-10x50-60 cm and hilling for the formation of a powerful whitened false stem.
Spring onion Lancelot is versatile in application: it can be consumed fresh, used for processing and drying. The taste of the variety is delicate and characteristic, which makes it popular among consumers. Yield from one square meter reaches about 5 kg, which indicates the high productivity of the variety. Thanks to the combination of decorative and economic qualities, as well as resistance to diseases, Lancelot is a reliable choice for growing both in personal holdings and in commercial production.
