Description
Sowing seeds is recommended to be carried out in open ground at the end of April - beginning of May using the row method with a distance between rows of 20-30 cm and between plants in a row of 4-6 cm. The depth of seed sowing is 1-2 cm. Young leaves are cut at a height of 5-7 cm from the soil surface 3-4 times during the vegetation period. After each cutting, plants require watering and feeding to maintain intensive growth.
This onion variety belongs to the Onion family and has narrow, dark-green awl-shaped leaves. Flowers are small, pink, collected in spherical inflorescences-umbels, which gives the plant decorative attractiveness during the flowering period from May to August. LILAC BELLS prefers to grow on loam and sandy loam soils, well-drained and fertilized, which contributes to its resistance and high yield.
