Matejko F1 leek is a medium-maturing hybrid developed by the seed company Rijk Zwaan from the Netherlands, intended for cultivation during the summer-autumn period. The vegetation period is approximately 110-120 days from emergence. Plants are characterized by high productivity and resistance to adverse conditions such as drought, high temperatures, and heavy rainfall, making this variety suitable for various climatic regions. The leek forms dark green, medium-width leaves with a strong waxy coating, and the whitened stem part reaches a length of 20-23 cm and a width of 5-8 cm, with individual plants weighing up to 250 grams.

The Matejko F1 hybrid exhibits high resistance to diseases, particularly rust and thrips, which helps maintain the marketable appearance and quality of the product over an extended period. A strong root and leaf system ensures the formation of first-class bulbs suitable for both fresh market and processing.
