Description
The Padishah variety is distinguished by high yields, reaching 70-100 tons per hectare, and has an excellent marketable appearance. Thanks to its powerful root system, this onion is resistant to fusarium and root rot, and can be successfully grown in arid regions. It is recommended to sow seeds as early as possible in spring into moist soil; to obtain larger bulbs, cultivation via seedlings with sowing in March and transplanting into open ground in early May is possible.
Padishah is excellent for long-term storage, maintaining its qualities until January. The thin neck and dense structure of the bulbs ensure good preservation and marketable appearance. The variety is recommended for cultivation in southern regions, where it demonstrates high adaptability and yield stability. The optimal planting scheme is 5-7 by 10-15 centimeters, which contributes to the formation of large and high-quality bulbs.
