Description
The PROFI variety is characterized by an early maturation period, reaching technical ripeness 90-95 days after seedling emergence. Short, sturdy green shoots and small, dense necks promote rapid drying and ensure excellent conditions for long-term storage of onions for up to 6 months. Due to its stability and high yield, this variety is suitable for cultivation both in garden plots and commercial farms.
Onion sowing is recommended from February to April at a depth of about 2 cm, with interrow spacing of 20 cm and a distance between plants of 3-5 cm. Harvesting takes place from July to September. The PROFI onion is versatile in application: it is excellent for fresh consumption, processing, and long-term storage, making it a profitable and convenient choice for various purposes.
