Red Rum F1 onion is a mid-season hybrid of red bulb onion developed by the breeding company Bejo Zaden from the Netherlands. Red Rum F1 forms proper round bulbs weighing from 150 to 300 grams. The upper skins have a rich purple color, differ in density and strength, which facilitates their cleaning. Inner skins are thick, fleshy, and crisp, red-purple in color with light veins. The onion has a sweet taste and a pronounced aroma, making it in demand both for fresh consumption and culinary use.
