Description
This variety is distinguished by high productivity, allowing a yield of up to 3.5 kg per square meter. Onion "Russian Dinner" is widely used fresh: it is added to salads, soups, used to garnish appetizers, and included in the composition of vegetable, meat, and fish dishes, various sauces and marinades. Due to the possibility of freezing, the greens retain their beneficial properties and taste, which allows them to be used in the winter period as a multivitamin product.
Sowing of seeds is recommended directly into the open ground at the end of April - beginning of May at a depth of 1.0-1.5 cm with row spacing of 10-15 cm and distance between plants of 4-5 cm. Harvest begins at the end of June - beginning of July, when leaves reach a height of 20-30 cm. Such a cultivation regime ensures a stable and high-quality harvest of greens and bulbs.
