SIMPHONY

Symphony is a variety of onion intended for growing in annual culture from seeds. It belongs to medium-early hybrids and is characterized by a round bulb shape weighing from 90 to 120 grams. The outer dry scales have a dark brown or brownish-yellow hue, while the inner ones are white. The onion has a thin neck and a two-locule structure. The taste of the variety is semi-sharp, making it versatile for various culinary purposes.

This variety is distinguished by high marketable yield, which ranges from 244 to 277 centners per hectare, corresponding to the Pesso F1 standard level and exceeding the Halcydon standard by approximately 80 centners. The maximum yield recorded in the Stavropol region reaches 374 centners per hectare. The onion's maturity before harvest is 86%, and after ripening it is 98%. Symphony is characterized by good resistance to temperature fluctuations and various diseases, especially to root system pink rot, making it a reliable choice for growing in various climatic conditions.

The variety is unpretentious to growing conditions and matures quickly, which allows for effective planning of agronomic activities. Due to its characteristics and resistance, Symphony onion is suitable for growing in the North Caucasus region and other similar climatic zones.
