SPANISH 313 is a late-maturing variety of onion, bred at the Biryuchukutskaya Vegetable Breeding Experimental Station and recommended for cultivation in the North Caucasus and Lower Volga regions, as well as in Ukraine and Moldova. The bulbs have a round or round-flat shape, weighing from 99 to 150 grams. Dry skins are light yellow, sometimes with a pinkish tint, while juicy parts are white, possibly with a greenish tint. The onion flavor combines sweet and semi-spicy notes with a slight spiciness, making it versatile for various culinary purposes.
The variety is characterized by good commercial yield, reaching from 2.4 to 4.6 kg per square meter, and high transportability and storability, ensuring convenient storage and transport.
