The SPECTRA onion is a late-maturing variety of bulb onion with a vegetation period of about 110-150 days, which allows it to be grown in various soil and climatic conditions. The plant is robust with a well-developed light green leaf apparatus. Bulbs have a round or round-flat shape, golden-brown in color with thin and strong protective skins. The diameter of the bulbs varies from 55 to 95 mm, while the mass ranges from 150 to 900 grams, depending on the method of cultivation and care conditions.

The SPECTRA variety is distinguished by excellent taste qualities due to its high carbohydrate and juice content, which gives the onion a pleasant sweet taste. It is suitable for both fresh consumption and long-term storage — up to 4-5 months, making it convenient for use throughout the winter period. Growing via seedlings with an age of 45-60 days is recommended to obtain large bulbs, although direct sowing of seeds into the open ground is also possible.

For an optimal yield, a planting density of 70-120 plants per square meter is recommended. The variety is well-suited for mechanized harvest collection and is characterized by strong growth. Thanks to its characteristics, SPECTRA is a universal variety that combines high yield, good taste qualities, and a long storage period.
